Education, Exchanges and Research

mission 21’s Department of Education, Exchanges and Research holds functions to discuss current issues in our church and in society and opportunities for intercultural and interreligious encounters.
We do this against the background of our collaboration with partner churches and organizations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We also want to create space to follow our own yearning for spirituality.
Interdisciplinary research focusing clearly on African Studies enables us to make a critical reappraisal of history, thus releasing potential for the future. The library is a proven specialist library for missionary work, ecumenicalism and developmental cooperation.
