We are delighted that you would like to play an active role. Your donations support the work, including developmental cooperation, of our partner churches and enable us to do our educational work in Switzerland. Your support guarantees the work of mission 21. If you would prefer to donate to a particular project, select the project of your choice. Please donate using the payment slip. Securing the success of projects Many donors make their offering so that we can carry out projects and programmes with our partner churches and organizations. Regular commitment is crucial in helping us to finance projects over several years. We would be very grateful if you were to decide to support our work regularly. You can make a decisive contribution by making a payment by standing order. We would be happy to send you a booklet containing 6 payment slips. You can rely on us Your address is in safe hands. It goes without saying that we will not sell or pass it on to anyone else. We follow the guidelines of the ZEWO, the central office for welfare organizations although, unfortunately, as an ideological organization, we cannot hold the ZEWO seal. We allocate any dedicated donations in accordance with your wishes and account for them in the annual report. By the way, we issue a receipt for donations over 50 francs. Special occasions A major birthday, anniversary or Golden Wedding is often an occasion to say “Thank you” and, instead of a present, ask family and friends to show solidarity with and support for disadvantaged fellow human beings. We would be delighted if you were to give in this way. We often receive donations on the death of a loved one. For many grieving relatives it is comforting to know that a donation in memory of the deceased can do some good. Many grieving families include a note in the Obituary that a donation can be sent to a charitable organization instead of flowers. If your family is suffering a loss you can also make a funeral collection for mission 21. mission 21 thanks all donors and sends you a list of all addresses. For reasons of discretion, we only report the total amount. A bequest gives life A will enables you to shape your wishes in far-reaching manner. Our free Guide to Wills answers the most frequently asked questions which arise in drawing up a will. Many people want their life’s work to continue after death and express their commitment by a bequest. 
Collections and jumble sales Most cantonal churches include mission 21 in their collection plan. The first Sunday in December is Mission Sunday. mission 21 sends suggestions for sermons and collection materials on current issues to ministers and parishes. You can get more information from our Congregation Service. It is only thanks to the support from Swiss churches that we are able to put our missionary work into action. Many people give active help by holding jumble sales. We would be happy to support you.
