    Our specialised academic library offers the general public an extensive stock of works focusing mainly on ethnology, history and religious studies. We offer advice on literature searches to any interested readers.

    Research archive

    The impressive research archive of the Basel Mission and Mission 21 contains documents, photographs, maps and plans relating to the history of Mission and cultural history, with some items dating from the early 19th century. It is open to everyone for research purposes.
