AsProNMeR, Ass. for the Promotion of Natural Medicine and Ressources
AsProNMeR stands for the Association for the Promotion of Natural Medicine and Resources. It is an initiative aimed at promoting natural medicine to prevent and treat widespread diseases. AsProNMeR also promotes the construction of energy-efficient cooking stoves so as to improve the rural population's living conditions. Mission 21 supports this work with funding and training for knowledge transfer. The Association initially came into being in 2008 in connection with the work of the rural development programme of the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN), Mission 21's partner church in north-eastern Nigeria. AsProNMeR gained state recognition as a non-government organisation in 2012.
