Ensuring nutrition in the Southern Andes (CEDEPAS)
This project contributes towards ensuring nutrition in the Southern Andes region. Key intervention elements include promoting and consolidating agroecological principles as well as strengthening the farming communities and producers' organisations so they can effectively influence local and regional agricultural policy. This project is run by CEDEPAS, our partner organisation. Mission 21 has been involved in the project since 2016. CEDEPAS, the Ecumenical Centre for Promotion and Social Action, runs programmes focusing on rural and social development, as well as on theological training. The 2018-2021 project should be understood as a continuation of the 2016-2017project.
You can find the latest reports on project work at the time of the Coronavirus in our News.
