Number: 179.1024
Ever since South Sudan – the world's youngest state – was founded, it has been afflicted by conflicts and unrest. Given this context, the country is particularly in need of strong institutions that will strengthen society so that the economy and the state can be rebuilt. The Giffen Institute of the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan (PCOSS), Mission 21's partner church, offers various vocational training and adult education courses at the Kakuma refugee camp in northern Kenya.
