The network of women theologians in Indonesia (PERUATI) is involved both in theological discourse and very specifically in the community.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>PERUATI functions within the parishes as a '<\/span>eye<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>opener<\/span>' and shows why a women's network like PERUATI is urgently needed.\u00a0<\/span>This network is not used for\u00a0<\/span>Exclusivity and differentiation<\/span>but the inclusivity of the activities. Gender studies were carried out by PERSETIA, the Women's Office, and PERUATI.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>It fights against discrimination and injustice as well as violence against women and children.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The presence of PERUATI<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the network of the\u00a0<\/span>Women's struggle\u00a0<\/span>strengthened by Protestant groups in Indonesia<\/span>. This can be seen as a measure of the development of feminist theology in Indonesia over two decades and its contribution to the struggle for <\/span>Actions\u00a0<\/span>be seen as a form of care and compassion. On the other hand, however, there are still obstacles to discourse and struggle\u00a0<\/span>from Feminist<\/span>*<\/span>inside<\/span>. The concept of feminism and\u00a0<\/span>the discussion about feminist theology in Indonesia\u00a0<\/span>become<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>some people continue to<\/span>\u00a0considered irrelevant because\u00a0<\/span>them<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>as\u00a0<\/span>Product<\/span>e<\/span>\u00a0of the West\u00a0<\/span>become<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Feminism\/feminist theology<\/span>\u00a0becomes<\/span>\u00a0still seen as a mere discourse study, not as a perspective that can lead to lifestyle changes and even to the\u00a0<\/span>Aspiration for\u00a0<\/span>can contribute to a humane civilization. This controversy\u00a0<\/span>does not dampen the enthusiasm for the development of feminist theology<\/span>which\u00a0<\/span>revitalized the entire PERUATI struggle movement<\/span><\/span>. The many cases of intimate partner violence, human trafficking and exploitation confirm PERUATI's need to further strengthen and expand its national women's network. Mission 21 supports the <\/span>Programs for the advancement of women\u00a0<\/span>to overcome violence and the efforts of women theologians to make a significant contribution to contextualization and quality improvement in theological education and training. PERUATI was founded in 1995 following a seminar organized by the Women's Office of the PGI (Federation of Protestant Churches) and the Association of Indonesian Theological Schools (PERSETIA).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
