This meeting is taking place on European soil for the first time in 50 years. It offers the unique opportunity to dive directly into the worldwide ecumenism. So writes the EKS in its media release.<\/p>\n<p>An important aspect of the participation is that the Swiss churches will work hard for dialogue and reconciliation, writes the EKS, in line with the Assembly's motto \"The love of Christ moves, reconciles and unites the world\". This is \"a fundamental call to the churches to work tirelessly with all people of good will for just peace and reconciliation. Especially in times of insecurity, climate crisis and the threat of war and pandemic.\"<\/p>\n<p><strong>Swiss Reformed show their history and future<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, the EKS will be in a network zone with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wolkenalphabet.ch\/index-en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SwissHub<\/strong><\/a>be present. On the one hand, it is a meeting point and welcome desk for partners and travel groups from the Swiss churches. On the other hand, the SwissHub opens a modern and informative view on the values, figures and achievements of the Swiss Reformed. Mission 21 will also be present at the SwissHub with speakers, videos and information material.<\/p>\n<p>\"The WCC Assembly is an event with enormous charisma that will also determine the ecumenical course for the coming years. As an ecumenically oriented church, we want to use this meeting to learn from our brothers and sisters in faith and to take new impulses back to Switzerland.
