Their vulnerable situation often leads to oppression and violence. The children of migrant workers are also disadvantaged. Mission 21 is committed to enabling women and children in Asia to lead a self-determined life with protection facilities, learning centers, prevention work and many other projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also in this issue: A lack of prospects, extreme poverty and experiences of violence bring children and young people to the streets of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
