The pandemic has multiple implications for them: They have no jobs, no income, no food, and in the process they become hopeless and desperate.\"<\/p>\n<p><strong>Support for the poorest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Sabah in the north of the island of Borneo, Malaysia's poorest province, many families are in this situation, writes Noria Majaman. It is therefore gratifying that political parties are now working together and supporting the people with a food package.<\/p>\n<p>Mission 21's partner churches in Sabah also help people who are affected by poverty.
