This work has now been recognized.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Protestant Reformed Sunda Church (GKP), a partner of Mission 21, received an award on October 16, 2024 for its commitment to supporting women affected by violence. The Indonesian Committee against Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan) presented the GKP's \"Durebang Center\" with the award in the category \"Coordination for overcoming gender-based violence and strengthening victim support services\". The award recognizes the long-standing commitment of GKP and its crisis center for women in supporting survivors of gender-based violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award was presented as part of the 26th anniversary celebrations of Komnas Perempuan in Jakarta. Chairwoman Andy Yentriyani emphasized the importance of cooperation between different institutions to create safe spaces for women. In this context, the GKP stands as an outstanding example of successful interfaith initiatives to support victims of violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Mission 21, this appreciation of the work of the GKP and the Durebang Center is a very important sign.
