The terror of Boko Haram has led to around two million people living as internally displaced persons, mostly in refugee camps.

Mission 21 is involved in peace work in Nigeria. The campaign "Peace grows with us" shows how important this work is for the suffering population. Mission 21 has organized cooking evenings with Nigerian recipes in several Swiss parishes.

Interested people were able to taste Nigerian food and received information about Mission 21's outreach and the opportunity to support this work with donations.

For example in Neuhausen: Nigerian and also Somali dishes were offered here. Numerous parishioners were informed about the peace village Gurku. In Gurku, 1200 Christians and Muslims live together peacefully. The project is supported by Mission 21.

You too can organize a "Cooking for Peace" evening in your parish. We will be happy to support you.

► More
