La Iniciativa para el Desarrollo Comunitario Integrado de Nigeria (ICIN) es una organizaci\u00f3n no gubernamental dirigida por mujeres y centrada en las mujeres y los j\u00f3venes. Su objetivo es fortalecer a las comunidades desfavorecidas y marginadas. Sus \u00e1mbitos de actuaci\u00f3n abarcan la promoci\u00f3n de la paz, la buena gobernanza y la protecci\u00f3n del clima, as\u00ed como la educaci\u00f3n, la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria, la ayuda humanitaria y el empoderamiento econ\u00f3mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La ICIN opera en varios estados de Nigeria y promueve el desarrollo sostenible a distintos niveles: mediante el desarrollo de capacidades, las alianzas, la defensa de intereses y la investigaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n se fomentan las medidas llevadas a cabo por las propias comunidades. En su labor de colaboraci\u00f3n, se da prioridad a los valores que fomentan la cohesi\u00f3n social, en concreto la inclusi\u00f3n, la integridad, la innovaci\u00f3n, la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y la transparencia. Su visi\u00f3n es una sociedad con menos pobreza y en la que se tengan en cuenta las necesidades de las personas en materia de educaci\u00f3n y salud.
