In September, Mission 21 and those responsible for the stalls decided with a heavy heart that the annual autumn bazaar had to be cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. By then, numerous volunteers had already invested hours in preparation; handmade products were ready for sale.
Despite Corona, many objects have now found a buyer. Instead of a big bazaar, Mission 21 organized a small sale in two offices in the Mission House over several weeks. The proceeds were impressive: Over 11,000 francs were collected. A substitute idea has become a success. The money now flows into our project work in Tanzania.
Without the numerous volunteers who support us every year, this success would not have been possible. We sincerely thank all those who knitted, sewed or cooked jams, who invested their creativity, time, work and heart and soul. And of course to all the visitors to the Mission House who also support our partners in Tanzania through their purchases.
