Cameroon: Project work in a tense situation

On the run: around 700,000 people in Cameroon have been displaced.

The situation in Cameroon has not improved, on the contrary. Angelika Weber, program officer for Cameroon at Mission 21, met with project partners in Cameroon and those involved in the reconstruction and emergency aid program during her two-week official trip at the beginning of February. She also visited the coordination office as well as representatives of UN-OCHA and the Swiss and German embassies. In the following text, she reports on the situation on the ground and on her encounters.
