Birth is a profound event that combines religious, social and personal dimensions. Together with three other organizations, Mission 21 is hosting an interfaith women's parliament on this topic. The event offers space to explore interfaith approaches and reflect on the role of faith, rituals and community in issues such as silent birth, impairment and childlessness.

How do different religious traditions shape the transition into life, and what challenges and perspectives arise in a diverse society? This 6th Interreligious Women's Parliament offers input from various religious traditions as well as space for dialog on the social and personal challenges surrounding the topic of birth.

  • Angela Büchel Sladkovic - Catholic theologian (Dr. theol.), adult educator and board member of the House of Religions.
