Encounter is the basis for the network of relationships that underlies our work. Mission 21 sees itself as a worldwide community of people who learn from one another. And encounter at eye level has also always been the prerequisite for the sustainability and quality of our common commitment to peace and justice, education and health for all people.
What's new?
The name of our magazine is new, we have refreshed the design and expanded the issue from 12 to 20 pages. The new "Living Worlds" section provides insight into very different realities. People from three continents each answer the same questions in very different ways.
In the future, we would like to offer you more content on our educational and research work. In the "From the Archive" section, we will take you back in time.
Proven and popular features remain the same as in the predecessor magazine "News" and are even expanded: We focus on a particular topic with our cover story and provide information on selected projects on the following pages.
This time, the focus is on Peru. At times, the country recorded the highest number of corona deaths in relation to its population. How were the people in our projects affected? Journalist Hildegard Willer asked.
Other topics include terror in Nigeria and the floods in Indonesia. In both places, Mission 21's partner organizations are providing important emergency aid.
Now we hope you enjoy reading this magazine and have exciting encounters with the stories of people from the worldwide Mission 21 community.
PS: Would you also like to read publications from our partner plants in Germany and Austria - as you did previously in the "Auftrag" magazine? You can now find them in a digital newsstand: Via app or at app.missionpress.org
