ICIN, Integrated Community Development Initiative

The Integrated Community Development Initiative of Nigeria (ICIN) is a women-led nongovernmental organization focused on women and youth. It works to empower disadvantaged and marginalized communities. Its areas of focus include peacebuilding, good governance, and climate action, as well as education, health care, humanitarian aid, and economic empowerment.

ICIN operates in several states across Nigeria and promotes sustainable development at various levels: through capacity building, partnerships, advocacy, and research. It also supports initiatives led by the communities themselves. Community-building values are at the forefront of its collaboration, namely inclusion, integrity, innovation, accountability, and transparency. Its vision is a society with less poverty, where people’s needs for education and health are met.
