Yvonne and Ueli Zimmer have lived and worked in Sabah (Malaysia) for many years. They maintain intensive contact with the local people and report in their newsletters on the development of the project work on the ground. In the current letter, they talk about the progress made in the women's work of the PCS, Mission 21's partner church in Sabah. A women's group on the Kudat Peninsula has specialized in making traditional men's head scarves. In the village of Popot, various income-generating initiatives have emerged, for example peanuts are planted and sold and ginseng plants are cultivated.
Newsletters are personal accounts of experiences and do not necessarily reflect the views of Mission 21.
