Getting used to life at an altitude of 3800 meters is not easy. Johanna Drach therefore moves to the city of Arequipa, 1000 meters lower down - and reports in her new newsletter on the issues that have preoccupied her apart from the climatic conditions: The corruption in Peru, the social and economic inequalities, and also the approaches to meet these challenges. She brings back good news from the project visits to the partner organizations. For example, she describes how the organization CEDEPAS is empowering people to participate more politically.
