2015 was an intense year for Claudia Zeising. As coordinator, she accompanies the Tanzanian partner churches of Mission 21 in two provinces of the Moravian Church. Now, in her new newsletter, she looks back on political developments in Tanzania and on her work.
Tanzania was paralyzed for months because of the parliamentary and presidential elections. There were protests in numerous places. At least as challenging as the political uncertainty, however, were and are the power interruptions. Since June, electricity has only been available for a few hours - often only at night. Claudia Zeising describes very impressively how much this can restrict people.
Newsletters are personal experience reports of the international employees of Mission 21 and do not necessarily reflect the views of Mission 21.
