March 8 is International Women's Day. Numerous women around the globe join together to set an example for equal rights. As various debates have shown in recent months, the fight against everyday discrimination against women unfortunately still has to be waged. Activists from various faith communities around the world therefore set a sign every Thursday against violence against women and wear black clothing on this day.
