The non-governmental organization Christian Action (CA), together with the Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong (TTM) and Mission 21, has been running a counseling and support service for Indonesian migrant women working as domestic workers in Hong Kong for over 15 years. They are often exploited or sexually abused by their employers. They receive legal and moral help, can find refuge in CA's emergency center if needed, and can further their education through language or computer courses. CA is well connected, both with consulates, other NGOs, and churches. In the future, closer cooperation with Indonesian institutions will also be sought in order to better support Indonesian migrant women before and after their departure.
