Challenges and successes at the hospital in Mbozi, Tanzania

A new water tank is installed. The work is part of the renovation of the intensive care unit at Mbozi Mission Hospital.

Jens Marcus Albrecht has been working as a surgeon and trauma surgeon at the mission hospital in Mbozi, Tanzania, for one year. He is grateful that there are no known cases of Covid-19 in Mbozi so far. Nevertheless, he and his colleagues at the hospital face new challenges every day. Again and again, urgently needed instruments and equipment are missing. But time and again there are also successes and progress. For example, the hospital's intensive care unit is currently being renovated. Jens Marcus Albrecht reports on this and his personal experiences in Tanzania in his current newsletter. We wish you an exciting read!
