Water is a human right. We stand up for it. You too?

We are used to clean drinking water from the tap. But in other countries, drinking water often means long walks, uncertain supplies, and health hazards. We are all familiar with the images of people who have to make do with dirty water. The issue of plastic islands in the sea is currently being picked up by many media. But what do we do with these images?

On the North-South Day on the topic of water, we will look around the world and see why the blue gold is so precious and how the topic of water and human rights is addressed in different countries. Is this topic close to your heart and would you like to get actively involved? We are still looking for young adults for the organization team of the North-South Day. You decide which tasks you want to take on and how much time you want to give. In about 3 preparatory meetings we plan the program of the North-South Day and set up great activities.

The North-South Day will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2019, in Bern. Between 80 and 100 young people will participate.
