Living together without conflicts is not possible. The "International Day of Peaceful Coexistence" is therefore a call for more dialogue, participation and inclusion. Mission 21 promotes peaceful coexistence through its worldwide commitment to peace and justice as well as with programs for intercultural exchange and interreligious cooperation and the promotion of understanding for global interrelationships.

In South Sudan, for example, our partners have played a key role in the peace process by repeatedly seeking dialogue with the various parties and calling for more dialogue between the opposing parties. They are currently supporting the population there, which has been scarred by civil war, in its reconstruction and reconciliation work. â–º More info

In Indonesia and Nigeria, for example, we support projects that are run jointly by Muslims and Christians. In this way, young people in particular learn how interreligious exchange can combat prejudices and promote peaceful coexistence.

Become active too, support our commitment for a peaceful coexistence with a â–º Donation or take part in one of our â–º Webinars and â–º Courses and experience for yourself how enriching intercultural exchange can be.
