FUNDAPIM, Foundation for Livelihood and Food Sovereignty

For a long time, the non-governmental organization FUNDAPIM provided holistic medical care and health education in the Mocomoco region. This included the administration of nine health posts, which have since been transferred entirely to state responsibility. In this way, the institution has made a significant contribution to the development of the local health care system. Since the health sector could be transferred to the state, FUNDAPIM has been working exclusively in agricultural production and livelihoods since 2013. The institution works closely with the political communities and relies on the participation of the local population in all areas of its activities. After a geographical reorientation, FUNDAPIM now works in Combaya, Larecaja Province, La Paz Department.
