The first day of the synod had a very packed program, and in between the guests were able to enjoy the breaks in sunny Aarau. Particularly pleasing was the participation of the numerous youth ambassadors, clearly visible in their blue "Agents of Change T-shirts".

At the international women's conference organized by Mission 21, experts from four continents discussed the topics of migration, flight and persecution. The event was a strong prelude to the Mission Synod, which will meet in Aarau from June 15 under the motto "Herzlich (un-)willkommen".
