Violent images from Israel and the Gaza Strip are shocking the whole world. However, the "Sternberg" rehabilitation center for children and young people in Palestine, which is supported by Mission 21, is only indirectly affected by this.
The situation is getting out of control in both Palestine and Israel. The number of Covid-19 infected people is increasing day by day. Many universities and colleges have switched to e-learning because of the Corona pandemic. This is rather difficult for an institution like Sternberg, which supports people with intellectual disabilities.
Children and young people at the Sternberg support center in Palestine can now be driven safely to school and back home. Mission 21 and Herrnhuter Missionshilfe collected the necessary donations for the purchase of a new school bus suitable for the disabled.
The Sternberg Rehabilitation Center in Palestine supports mentally impaired children. Mission 21 supports the center together with other partner organizations. The Corona pandemic has meant that the center has had to temporarily close its doors.
The "Sternberg" rehabilitation center near Ramallah in Palestine supports children and young people with disabilities. This year, several young people have mastered the entry into professional life. And the UN sent employees to the Sternberg for further training.
