In Neuhausen, several dozen interested people came to the church community center in September to cook together, taste Nigerian and Somali dishes, and learn more about Mission 21's peace work.

Cooperation across religious boundaries is a key to greater peace. A conference in Basel made clear what is meant by this.

In Arlesheim, a Japanese fan maple now stands on the grounds of the Reformed Church. It was planted by children during a camp week on the theme of "Heaven and Earth. The tree planting campaign is part of Mission 21's "Peace grows with us" campaign.
