New ambulance vehicle at Manyemen Hospital, Cameroon

The new ambulance makes it possible to be on the scene faster and provide first aid. Photo: zVg

The acquisition of the vehicle is important in order to reach the population in the rural areas surrounding the hospital. Starting from the Manyemen Hospital, the health project of Mission 21 and the local partner church PCC ensures basic medical care for the rural population. The new ambulance vehicle is an effective tool for this purpose. As a result of the conflict between separatists and the central government, which has led to violent conflicts in the region for years, Manyemen Hospital is increasingly involved in the care of internally displaced persons. Thanks to the vehicle, patients can now be cared for more quickly.
