Unfortunately, the flu epidemic reduced the number of our participants. However, we were not deterred by this and experienced a great day together.
After coffee and rolls, Christian Weber, director of studies of Mission 21, gave us a short insight into the history of the mission. Afterwards we distributed ourselves among the different courses. The participants diligently felted colored light chains, disassembled old knirps to sew covers for new knirps and crocheted beautiful ironing bags. With a delicious lunch we strengthened ourselves for the second part of the course in the afternoon, where the participants finished their beautiful works.
Finally, we marveled at the results of the work together and ended the day with coffee and cake. It was a sociable and happy get-together, with many good conversations.
A big thank you to the course leaders for their great work ideas and to the Landeskirche Zürich for their hospitality.
